Tesla's Vehicle Service Intervals list is short and mixes time and mileage triggers. Brake fluid is checked for contamination every 4 years and replaced only if the check shows it is necessary. The cabin air filter is replaced every 2 years, with a shorter yearly interval listed for China. Wiper blades are replaced every year. Tires are rotated every 6,250 miles, or sooner when the tread depth difference between tires reaches 2/32 inch, whichever comes first.
Two items apply to narrower cases. Brake caliper cleaning and lubrication is listed every 12 months or 12,500 miles for vehicles in areas where roads are salted during winter. There is no engine oil, spark plug, engine air filter, timing belt or exhaust service for the Model 3, because the drivetrain is electric. Tesla also does not set a periodic full inspection visit in these records, which is why the list is shorter than a gasoline schedule and should not be read as one.
