Pages 10-10 and 10-11 describe the system. The SRX monitors engine operating conditions and displays CHANGE ENGINE OIL SOON when service is due. GM states the oil should be changed within 600 miles of that message and at least once a year, and that the system must be reset every time the oil is changed. Tire rotation and its bundled checks sit on a 7,500 mile cycle from pages 11-2, 11-4 and 11-6, and include an engine oil level and oil life check, a coolant level check and a washer fluid check. The passenger compartment air filter is replaced every 22,500 miles or 24 months. At 45,000 miles or 48 months the evaporative control system is inspected and the engine air cleaner filter is replaced. Longer term items on pages 11-6 and 11-8 include the cooling system drain, flush and fill at 150,000 miles or 60 months, brake fluid replacement at 150,000 miles or 120 months and an accessory drive belt inspection on the same point.
